In a tense situation, a disgruntled ex-mail delivery driver opens fire on two individuals and takes several others hostage inside a high-rise office building. While chaos unfolds, an unsuspecting employee located a thousand miles away steps up as a hostage negotiator. He takes it upon himself to ensure the safety of those trapped inside, while police and SWAT teams strategize to safely rescue the hostages from the escalating crisis.
