Kara is deeply touched by the tale of a missing woman named Izzy and chooses to pursue the case, ignoring Snapper Carr's instructions to steer clear. She enlists Mon-El's help to visit the last known location of Izzy, but they unexpectedly find themselves transported through a portal to Slaver's Moon, a planet where the oppressed are sold into slavery. To their shock, they discover that Roulette leads the trafficking operation. Complicating their situation, the planet's red sun robs Kara and Mon-El of their powers, leaving them stranded. Meanwhile, Alex is consumed by guilt over Kara's absence, worrying that her new relationship with Maggie has distracted her from protecting her sister.
