After being rejected from the camp once more, Dr. Smith wakes from a nap to discover he’s been captured by tiny mechanical beings. The Robinsons find their camp besieged by the INDUSTRO machines, who insist they are searching for their leader. It becomes clear that they want the Robot, and if he isn’t handed over, they threaten to launch an attack. When the Robot willingly surrenders, the mechanical men realize he isn’t the “evil” leader they sought, and they swap his personality with Dr. Smith’s. When Dr. Smith returns, now sounding like the Robot, Don finds it amusing and takes advantage of the situation. A battle erupts, leading to the defeat of the mechanical men, who then restore Dr. Smith and the Robot back to normal.
