Title: Assignment I: Escape through a Crack in Time (6) Plot: Drawn in by a vision of his father, Rob unwittingly steps into a trap located in the basement. The pool of light transports him back to the 1700s, during the house's construction. Sapphire and Steel are alarmed to find all three pools of light ensnared with Rob. However, Steel realizes that the being controlling the pools has erred and devises a plan to turn the tables by using Helen as bait. Despite Sapphire's reservations, they proceed with the scheme, seeing it as their only hope to rescue Rob, reunite him with his parents, and return home.
