As the annual talent show approaches, Steve and Cedric are eager to find partners to dethrone Regina, the reigning champion. Regina pretends to be disinterested in the competition while secretly searching for a collaborator to secure her victory once more. When Steve discovers that Romeo is dancing with Regina and Bullethead is performing with Cedric, he teams up with Lydia instead. Lovita voices her frustration about being excluded from the show. During rehearsals, Romeo realizes Regina only wants him for his looks, not his dancing abilities. Lydia suggests a duet, but Steve hesitates. Tensions rise when Cedric disrespects Bullethead, prompting the students to protest and walk out.
