Calvin is taken aback when he finds out that his mother and brother, Roz Ryan and Phil LaMarr, have been aware of his father's second family for a long time. The ex-mayor of Chicago, portrayed by John Rubinstein, announces his campaign against Jimmy. After uncovering Terri and Yinka's struggles with drugs, Calvin insists they check into rehab, overseen by a tough-talking counselor played by Kevin Hart. Meanwhile, Eddie's friends question his relationship with Claire, while Jen and Dana plan to launch an urban bed and breakfast. Additionally, Malcolm (A. Doran Reed) sues Calvin for invading his privacy after being filmed in a compromising situation at the barbershop.
