She persuades him to give her a ride home and attempts to make a move, only to discover he’s engaged. Though nothing transpires, Joan falsely tells Toni and Lynn that they slept together. The rumors spread through town, leading to Davis getting dumped by his fiancée, leaving Joan to navigate the fallout.
