The initial portion of this episode features a masterfully executed and suspenseful escape scene, as the rat catcher pursues them while toxic gas seeps into the wall spaces. In the final segment, we find the family venturing into the vastness of the outside world, which feels overwhelmingly enormous when you're just 15 centimeters tall.
