Reunion (S01E02)

Nick files a lawsuit against Bendaprine, the pharmaceutical company, seeking $10 million for Hunter Reed and his mother's estate. However, Alvin Masterson intervenes, urging Nick to withdraw the case due to a potential conflict of interest. Nick counters that since Alvin removed him from Hunter's case, he is fully entitled to proceed as a lawyer at Fallin & Assoc. Meanwhile, James takes on a case involving a 12-year-old boy who has been living with his older brother after their mother's drug-related arrest. When Marcus, the brother, is arrested for selling crack, James strives to find a suitable guardian for the boy to prevent juvenile detention. Yet, Andre, determined to stay with Marcus, threatens to get himself arrested to avoid separation, making his intentions clear.
