For the first time in three decades, raven chicks hatch at the tower, but only one can remain, forcing ravenmaster Chris to make the difficult choice of which to keep while finding new homes for the rest. Meanwhile, the tower director is set to retire after 15 years and takes a moment to savor his final gun salute. AJ Clarke, the second woman to join the Yeoman warders, begins an intense fitness journey that soon requires her to get a new uniform. Additionally, the episode explores the historical incident when the future Queen Elizabeth I was imprisoned at the tower for conspiring against her sister, Queen Mary.
