Officers are in hot pursuit of suspects wielding a crowbar and an air rifle after they mugged a civilian, prompting the police helicopter to join the chase when it veers off-road. PCs John Douglas and Joe Gorman notice a BMW speeding away, and as they follow, they see sparks flying from the severely worn rear tire.
