A young boy, marked by scars, is isolated from the world by his anxious mother. Geoff steps in to help them reintegrate into society, but the mother steadfastly opposes his efforts. When the boy’s despair leads him to contemplate suicide, Penny takes it upon herself to find a solution and mend the fractured situation.
