Stewart examines the terrain to understand the water flow and other elements crucial for iron smelting. Meanwhile, John believes there's compelling geophysical data indicating a furnace located a mile away at Eastwall Farm, which might even be water-powered—a significant find. They construct a bloomery in the medieval style and are joined by historian Pete Brown and archaeologists David Cranstone, Bill Klemperer, Deb Ford, Gerry McDonnell, and Tim Young.
