In Fort Worth, Texas, Officer Antonio Maldonado II is in pursuit of a silver dual rear wheel pickup truck racing through a neighborhood. Officer Carolyn Jacoby jumps in to assist after the gang unit and a helicopter kick off the chase. The situation escalates when the truck reaches a construction-blocked street, forcing a foot chase. Meanwhile, Officer Ernesto Tamayo investigates a man loitering in a parked car, but the individual speeds away, prompting another pursuit in which he discards a loaded syringe out the window.
