As the cartel plots to publicly execute Richard at the racetrack's grand opening, Richard cleverly swaps out the bomb, leading to the cartel's limousine being blown up instead. In an effort to impress Angela, Lance vows that he and Melissa will have a child, but Melissa faces heartbreak upon learning her injuries from the car accident have left her unable to conceive. While the Giobertis think Michael and Terry are heading to Mexico, they are shocked when the couple reveals they've wed. At Falcon Crest, Angela consents to marry Philip. Meanwhile, detectives close in on Julia's hideout, and Lucas uncovers her true identity and violent past as she makes her way to Tuscany. Lance, meanwhile, secretly maneuvers for power through The Globe.
