Desperate to salvage her empire, Angela Channing seeks the help of her wealthy and influential old friend, Peter Stavros. Meanwhile, after Maggie confronts Richard Channing about their past prior to the explosion, she retreats to a secluded cabin to piece her life back together. Father Christopher becomes invested in the vineyard workers, which irritates Melissa and worries Angela. Eventually, Melissa finds herself seeking Father Christopher's guidance as her home situation spirals out of control. During a meeting with Cassandra and Anna, Peter presents his initial offer to buy Falcon Crest, prompting Angela to reveal the truth about Father Christopher's origins.
