Ariel makes her way back to Storybrooke, desperately seeking Hook's assistance in locating Prince Eric, who hasn't returned since the new curse was cast. Emma decides to let Regina mentor her in magic to prepare for the battle against Zelena, while Mary Margaret and David strive to show Henry that they can be just as entertaining as Hook, who he views as more exciting. In Fairy Tale Land, Ariel confronts Hook, furious about Eric's disappearance, suspecting the pirate may have harmed him. However, Hook reveals that the Jolly Roger has been stolen and suggests Eric might be the captor's prisoner. Unwittingly, Ariel gives Hook a vital clue, prompting him to set off with her to find his ship.
