In her frantic search for her sister Anna, Elsa inadvertently ensnares them both in an ice cave. Meanwhile, Regina isolates herself from the town and Henry. As the townsfolk look to Mary Margaret as their new leader, she confronts her initial challenge: getting a generator up and running to restore power after Elsa’s ice has wreaked havoc on the electrical lines. Meanwhile, Anna takes on the task of training a hesitant David to stand up to Bo Peep.
