D.J. is pleased with her report card, except for the D she received in Spanish. Frustrated, she asks Danny to discuss the grade with her teacher, Linda Mosley. When Linda visits their home for the conversation, things take an unexpected turn as Danny and Linda share a kiss in front of D.J. and some friends, leading to D.J. feeling embarrassed and upset. She resents Danny for the teasing she faces and for not getting her grade changed. Danny eventually helps D.J. realize that her struggles in Spanish stemmed from her giving up as the class got harder. Meanwhile, Mr. Malatesta casts Michelle in a marshmallow commercial that Joey and Jesse are working on.
