Verna and JoAnne (S05E09)

Verna, a fiery former police officer turned drug dealer and ex-con, has skillfully dodged regulations on hoarding, claiming her collection is a form of artistic expression. However, after being hospitalized due to her diabetes, the medical staff insists she can't return home until her living space is tidied. Meanwhile, Joanne's once-pristine home has deteriorated into a mess, yet she continues to care for her six-year-old grandson during the day. Frustrated by the state of affairs, Joanne’s sister-in-law is threatening to involve adult protective services unless the situation is rectified promptly.
