Ascension (S02E05)

Amidst the lush vineyards of the Palazzo dei Santi Apostoli, Cardinal Giuliano della Rovere carefully chooses grapes for the blessing of the first fruits. His companion, Cardinal Raffaele Riario Sansoni, is more focused on political matters. Meanwhile, Cardinal Cesare, freed from his vows, dons the golden armor of his deceased brother Juan. Clad in this regal attire, he sits upon the papal throne, embodying his long-held vision of "ascension" to a higher power.
