Meanwhile, Makina awakens at the Shichisei Headquarters, eagerly engaging in battle with Hokuto. The Shichisei share their plans, while the kougonshuu confronts Ouri, suspecting he is the offspring of a corpse. Overwhelmed by memories from his childhood, Ouri loses control, prompting high priest Gon to expel him from his role as a contractor priest. In the midst of a minor altercation involving his priest friends, Ouri manages to flee back to the orphanage. It’s revealed that Huzuchi, one of the Shichisei, harbors a deep-seated resentment towards Ouri, as he was killed by Ouri’s “mother,” leaving Ouri as the last survivor.
