Meanwhile, Clark confronts Carl Myers, accusing him of being both a thief at the trail camp and a card cheat. In a bold move, Favor resolves to guide the herd across the parched plains during the toughest season, leading to growing doubts among the men about his decision-making. Ultimately, this results in the departure of all but six of his crew.
