Meanwhile, a new Angel emerges, capable of cloning itself into two identical forms. After a crushing defeat for EVA-01 and EVA-02, NERV faces public disgrace. With the Angel entering a week-long recovery following an N² Mine strike from the JSSDF, Asuka and Shinji must master their synchronization in combat to finally conquer this formidable foe.
