Title: Homecoming Plot: Years ago, a police officer played a key role in sending a mobster’s son to prison, leading to the officer living in hiding as the mobster seeks revenge. Now, the officer wishes to return home and enlists Spenser to mediate the situation. However, the mobster is adamant about wanting his son dead. As Spenser navigates this dangerous negotiation, he also faces personal challenges with Susan, who has returned to town hoping to rekindle their relationship, but his focus is consumed by the escalating case.
