The Tube employees prepare for their most hectic and extraordinary shift of the year. Anticipating a million travelers, New Year's Eve is the sole night when the Tube operates around the clock. Many staff members have volunteered for additional hours, but the unpredictability of the night keeps them on their toes. This year, heightened security is a priority across the entire network in the wake of the recent terrorist attacks in Paris.
