Uluru (S01E02)

Ernie finds himself in Australia’s red center during winter, where he encounters locals living near the famous Uluru. He connects with traditional owner Sammy and his partner Kathryn, gaining insight into Sammy’s deep appreciation for this sacred site. National Parks ranger Melinda and the local Annangu elders invite him to participate in a controlled burn, enriching his understanding of the land. He also meets Mal, who has dedicated a decade to working alongside the Annangu people. Additionally, Ernie engages with a group of Indigenous individuals in a training program aimed at creating job opportunities in the hospitality sector. To top it all off, he takes a helicopter ride over Uluru with pilot Dave, discovering how this adventurous soul made his way to such a remarkable destination.
