Stranded on Mortis, the Jedi face mounting pressure as the Son, who has embraced the dark side, intensifies his attempts to sway Anakin. Troubled by visions of a grim future, Anakin finds himself tempted by the Son's offer of power to change his fate. The Father intervenes, recognizing that the Son has violated the laws of time. He erases Anakin's memories of these foreboding glimpses and seizes the Mortis Dagger to halt the chaos. In a shocking move, the Father impales himself to prevent the Son from claiming his power. Anakin, stunned by the events, ultimately strikes down the Son. With the demise of all three Force users, balance is restored on Mortis, and the Jedi are returned to the galaxy at the exact moment they vanished.
