On September 3, 2010, after departing from Dubai International Airport, the crew of UPS Airlines Flight 6 encounters a fire onboard and promptly declares an emergency. Despite their efforts to return to the airport, they are unable to make a safe landing. The plane veers over the airport and ultimately crashes into an uninhabited region nearby. Tragically, both pilots lose their lives in the incident.
