Meanwhile, Malik unexpectedly encounters an old girlfriend, Renee, played by guest star Kendra C. Johnson. As their chemistry reignites and she expresses a desire to be seen together publicly, Malik hesitates due to her weight. Torn between his feelings, he turns to Tasha for guidance on how to navigate his emotions regarding Renee.
