Damage Case (S02E24)
The team manages an intern from another hospital, Marshall, who is struggling with short-term memory loss. He’s also responsible for a car crash that injured a married couple, their unborn child, and the woman's parents, all of whom are now under their care. Tragically, the pregnant woman, Melanie, is not expected to survive, although her baby might. One female intern reconnects with an old acquaintance who is eager to start her own family. Cristina is feeling upbeat, but tension brews as Alex, Izzie, George, and Meredith face their own issues. Meanwhile, Burke is still upset with Cristina for a late-night mistake. Meredith and Izzie poke fun at Callie’s home life, while George and Callie argue over his roommates. Addison continues to dominate Alex, leaving him frustrated. Denny lashes out at Izzie, and Derek confronts Meredith in a similar outburst.
