The sleepless nights, the impossible choices, and the weight of his friends' lives on his shoulders have become too much. In a moment of raw exhaustion, he finds himself wishing he had never crossed paths with Elfangor, that the Andalite prince had never crash-landed in their lives and handed them this terrible burden.
