Before heading off on a trip, Mel entrusts his car to Alice and Flo. Unfortunately, Flo ends up totaling the car in a mishap that spans several blocks. As they scramble to figure out how to repair it before Mel's return, he surprises everyone by coming back early. Instead of hearing the news from his friends, Mel learns about the state of his car from an irate Hispanic neighbor!
