In his quest to break a paddle-ball world record, SpongeBob neglects to feed Gary for an entire ten days. Taking matters into his own paws, Gary flees to downtown Bikini Bottom, where a sweet elderly woman mistakes him for one of her long-gone pets. When SpongeBob finally realizes his oversight, he embarks on a frantic search throughout the town for his beloved snail. Meanwhile, Gary, cozy in blankets and treated to a never-ending supply of snacks, uncovers a chilling truth about the seemingly kind woman who has taken him in.
