The Colour of Mary (S04E04)

Charlie Gimbert comes back from abroad, stepping into an unexpected position as manager for the notorious snooker player, Murray McNally. Eager to reclaim his reputation, Murray enlists Lovejoy’s help in tracking down a historic billiards table that once belonged to Mary Queen of Scots, seemingly with an unlimited budget. Their quest takes them to Fotheringhay Castle, where they connect with a descendant of Mary's former jailer. The journey culminates in an exhibition match featuring the renowned snooker champion, Dennis Taylor.
