When a valuable porcelain statue of the mystic monk Sikoto-no vanishes from a local museum, it triggers a series of unfortunate incidents. Jonathan Creek and Carla Borrego are brought in to solve the mystery, leading them into an enigmatic forest. There, an ancient beech tree conceals the crucial clue that could unravel the case.
