Unbeknownst to Matthew, Jason is attracted to men, and after their conversation, he reveals to Mandy that he has developed feelings for her friend. Mandy also enrolls in an Italian class, where her instructor, Mario, takes a liking to her. Misunderstanding her declaration of celibacy as a claim of virginity, he becomes intrigued.
