Samantha is overjoyed when her boyfriend Chad composes a song just for her. The news spreads, catching the attention of iconic musician Ray Charles, whom Angela persuades to record the song for her advertising agency. However, when Chad begins dating someone else, Samantha's anger boils over, and she insists the recording should be canceled. It isn't until Ray delivers an incredible rendition of the song that Samantha realizes her friendship with Angela holds greater significance than seeking revenge on Chad.
