Although Iris is suspicious of Jack's intentions, she ultimately decides not to obstruct their plans. Meanwhile, Jack makes a secret call, assuring someone that he will secure the funds. Brenda is downcast in her room, throwing away all reminders of Dylan. A heart-to-heart with Iris inspires her to move on, leading her to reach out to Kelly at school. Steve assists David in arranging a meeting with a record label, but the executive warns David that he must choose between Steve and the deal, and David reluctantly complies. Andrea feels uncertain about attending a tea for prospective Yale students.
