A college student plunges from a balcony, and once she arrives at the ER, TC and Paul discover her condition is more complicated than they anticipated. Jordan forms a connection with a terminally ill patient who imparts valuable insights about life. TC's estranged sister-in-law, Annie, reappears, seeking reconciliation.
