The following morning, Joey and Pacey realize they've slept in and missed their bus back to Capeside. While waiting for the next ride, they grapple with the complexities arising from their evolving relationship. Meanwhile, as a consequence for raiding the hotel mini-bar during their ski trip, Mr. Kasdan assigns Jen to see a psychologist to address her "teen issues." In Capeside, Joey and Dawson reconnect, reminiscing about the previous weekend's events. Noticing a shift in Joey's attitude, Dawson asks a challenging question that prompts her to reflect on the value of honesty. Additionally, Dawson must confront the reality of Brooks' passing and is taken aback to learn he is mentioned in the will.
