Following the brutal sexual assault and murder of a young woman, Detectives Olivia Benson and Eliot Stabler initially focus on her boyfriend as their prime suspect. However, they quickly discover that he is a dedicated vegan with a gentle disposition. Delving deeper, they uncover that the victim was passionately engaged in exposing unethical practices within the meat-packing industry, even going undercover at a major company to uncover the truth. To uncover more leads, Benson decides to go undercover herself, aiming to follow in the victim's footsteps and pinpoint anyone who may have provoked her during her investigation.
