When the festival arrives, Akechi surprises everyone by revealing he knows the identities of the Phantom Thieves, stating that he awakened his Persona during his confrontation with the masked man. He proposes a collaboration to help clear their names, requesting the group's assistance in prompting a change in Sae's heart, after which he suggests they disband.
