Hannah struggles to conceal her growing stress over her book from her parents, played by Becky Ann Baker and Peter Scolari, who are in town. Marnie is shocked to discover that Charlie has launched a thriving app business. Meanwhile, at an AA meeting, Adam encounters a lively woman (Carol Kane) who encourages him to pursue her daughter, Natalia (Shiri Appleby). Additionally, Ray's dislike for college parties causes Shoshanna to reconsider their relationship.
