Title: The Lieutenant Plot: At the Cannon ranch, the men find themselves entangled in a heated standoff between a neighboring ranch owner and a young cavalry officer intent on capturing him. When Lt. Jason Adams announces his plan to apprehend rancher Henry Simmons for a long-standing desertion issue, Billy Blue impulsively tries to alert Simmons and his daughter, Martha. Although Simmons is ready to surrender, Martha, fearing for her father's safety, takes drastic action, igniting a military siege on their homestead.
