In an attempt to evade capture, a jewel thief dons a bear costume and takes refuge in Jellystone Park. A determined lawman and his trusty bloodhound, Ole Yelp, are hot on his trail. Meanwhile, Yogi is tricked by the thief's clever disguise and unwittingly assists him in escaping. Ultimately, the thief is apprehended, and Yogi receives the accolades for the capture, leaving Ole Yelp frustrated, as he was the only one who saw through the thief's ruse.
