While there, Jess crosses paths with Detective Jake Peralta and lends a hand with a case, which brings her to the 99th Precinct in Brooklyn, where she meets Gina Linetti and Captain Raymond Holt. Meanwhile, Nick and Winston are in a rush to gather subway fare while trying to make an impression on Detective Charles Boyle, and Cece finds herself in a standoff with her new mother-in-law.
