Dr. Colin Driver, a seasoned neurologist, devises an unexpected approach to save a nurse's cat, Icicle, who has been brought into the operating room after being poisoned. Meanwhile, the owners of Bodie, a unique Polish sheepdog with a botched leg fracture repair, must decide between amputating the leg or opting for a groundbreaking total elbow replacement. Additionally, a woman who proudly identifies as a 'crazy cat lady' rushes in with her ginger tom, Buggy, who is in urgent need of leg surgery.
