A new pathologist, Walter Ross, who has a disability, joins the lab. He investigates the electrocution case of a baby with Sturge-Weber syndrome and becomes convinced that the child's father, Gerald Preston, who is also Quincy’s friend, is responsible for the murder. Concerned about Walter's narrow perspective, Quincy takes it upon himself to delve deeper into the evidence and uncover the truth behind Walter's claims.
