Whitley steps into a substitute teaching role at a chaotic junior high school, facing a class of unruly students on her first day. Surprisingly, they suddenly start to act respectfully, revealing they had all intentionally failed their exams. Although initially disheartened, Whitley challenges them to showcase their true abilities. With the principal’s encouragement, she incorporates her personal experiences to supplement the outdated curriculum. Meanwhile, Dorian finally asks Lena out, catching her off guard when he admits he doesn’t believe in pre-marital sex. Despite this revelation, she remains open to pursuing a relationship with him.
